Binary package hint: screem

running dell e520 ( shipped with feisty )  upgraded to latest gutsy
packages.

running compiz

screem just shuts down with no messages when working with screem.

nothing consistent as far as what actions i am trying to perform. 
sometimes using mouse, other times keying, other times clicking a tab.
working with .css and .php files.
