Thanks for reporting.

It's fairly close to the release of Wily, but it might be possible to
sync this before then. I've subscribed the ubuntu-release team so that
they may take a look at it. I'm not sure whether this falls under bugfix
or new upstream release, but you may want to a look at the page for
Feature Freeze (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess).

Have you done any testing with the newer package on Wily?

If it doesn't work out for some reason, the package will be
automatically synced to the next Ubuntu development release.
