Considering that newer graphics cards are relatively cheap, I fixed my graphic issues with a
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti WindForce 2X OC . Just wanted to leave a short note on the model so others have a reference on what works. Issues to consider: ------------------- * no support in current Linux kernel of Ubuntu. I had to chroot multiple times while installing proprietary drivers.
