I loved the persistent feature of 6.10 on an USB stick. ( I had my Ubuntu always with me :-) )
I spent a lot of time (may nights) trying to get it working with 7.04. Unfortunately with no success. It would be very sad if the 7.40 Bug would still be on 7.10. Guess I have to switch than to an other Linux again.
