Public bug reported: Using nm-applet, already connected to primary WAP of the WPA2-secured 802.11g network. Used the option "Connect to Other Wireless Network..." to attempt connection to another WAP+ESSID. There is a delay with apparently nothing happening and the nm-applet disappears from the notification area, and apport reports the crash. Reproducible.
