Public bug reported:

I am running Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 with GNOME 3.16, and I have recently
noticed that in the applications list in the "Activities Overview" that
if an application's name exceeds that that can be displayed you simply
see a "..." at the end, and I would expect that upon hovering over the
icon with my mouse I would get the application's full name like I do
when doing that anywhere else such as over one of them in the
"Favourites" section, but I get no such label when hovering over it, so
I think that this simple, expected, and standard feature should be
implemented otherwise it is harder to find out the application's full
name.
