Public bug reported: I think that a really good feature would be one that would allow you to move multiple windows at once by joining them all together at their edges so that when one is moved, the others move with it and it can be minimized etc and resized as just one large window.
This would be very useful especially when wanting to move multiple windows to another workspace or monitor. And when I posted a question about it here I noticed a lot of people expressing how much they wanted such a feature and had been looking for a similar one for quite some time (not all of this was written to me on the question): https://askubuntu.com/questions/681259/window-grouping ** Affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1502670 Title: Window grouping - feature request To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1502670/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
