Right, that's 1.0.76. I'm using the latest versions of the packages to make sure the bug hasn't been fixed already. As for the protocol, DNS-SD is not very useful in enterprise environments. Also, it was my understanding that my setup was in line with the expected functionality of cups-browsed. Sorry if I was wrong.
