This is wiered.
I tried, with my PC booted on kernel: 4.3.0-040300rc2-generic, to launch this
command in terminal:

sudo sh -c "sync && echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace && pm-suspend"

as it says here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend#A.22resume-trace.22_debugging_procedure_for_finding_buggy_drivers

My PC looks like suspending: it turnes off and the power LED slowly
flashes when in the suspended state (at least it looks like suspended).
I wait a bit, 2-3 minutes, press the power, button, I see the HD LED
flashing, but my PC returns from suspension without entering the lock
screen, I find it resumed just as I left it as nothing happened, no blue
screen no freeze, nothing.

I am attaching the dmesg file obtained immediatly after resuming from
suspension. As I did this twice I have two dmesg files to attach, one
for each time I suspended.

** Attachment added: "dmesg-first-time"
