it's definitely some java related issue. I can get a terminal if I quickly switch to it (there's a loop somewhere because it goes slow with the pass of time). If I get the terminal, the loop stops and I can use it as normal, but if I switch to UI again the system stops. I tried to kill chrome from terminal but it didn't solve it. the only "recent" program I'm using is JDownloader and this occurs very often when it's running (this was the 4th time it crashed in ~30 mins). next time I will try killing java to see what happens... in the meanwhile, I would really appreciate someone dealing with this :)
