I am the python programmer 'in charge' ;). The problem may be related to not enough memory, but it could also be a corrupt RAM module in your machine. Anyways, there is no sane way one can handle a MemoryError from python itself, as the handling is likely to raise more of these same errors. I hope that makes it clear that there is no good way of targeting this problem from the tracker handler. Please don't feel discouraged to report bug ;)!
