Public bug reported: I just got a slimport HDMI adaptor, but whenever I insert it the phone screen gets black and shortly afterwards unity8 crashes. The external monitor remains black.
The crash is https://errors.ubuntu.com/oops/7d378a56-5c95-11e5-b10a- fa163e339c81 A crash also happens when I disconnect the cable.
