I have a similar problem with a DV6000US, after installing gutsy, my wireless card disappeared. It is completely gone if I do an lspci. And starting with the switch on or off makes no position. BTW I also need to boot with noapic nolapic and irqpoll if I want the computer to boot up at all, Cheers, Jack
