I think I found the solution to this bug: 3.13.0-62 was not installed correctly. This is due to the fact that fgrlx was upgraded too. During this update the question `whether you would like to keep you config` is asked. But you have to expand (view details) the window to actually see that this question is asked. Otherwise, the upgrade process will not continue. I think I quit the previous upgrade of this package accidentally, leading to an unfinished install of the kernel.
So I think this is not a bug of 3.13.0-62, but a usability bug of the upgrade process. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1490132 Title: Cannot boot with linux-image-extra-3.13.0-62-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1490132/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
