Same here, but this time loading ipython qtconsole embedded in an app. The code looks similar to this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29421936/cant-quit-pyqt5-application-with-embedded-ipython-qtconsole/30068103#30068103
It's actually way more extensive, but it crashes when it tries to create the kernel. I used this workaround to "fix" it: sudo mv /usr/lib/python3.4/lib-dynload/readline.cpython-34m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so /usr/lib/python3.4/lib-dynload/readline.cpython-34m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so.bkp It works fine now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1421977 Title: blender crashes on python code completion To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/blender/+bug/1421977/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
