Yes, the dock allows using multiple instances because maybe you want to
have multiple docks with different settings. But for that, you have to
force the dock loading the configuration from another directory by using
the '-d' option.

Maybe the dock should check if it's not already launched with the same
settings. But it can lead to other problem: what if the dock wrongly
detect that it's already launched?
