On my Feisty router Dell PIII-1ghz with custom 2.6.22 kernel, the following commands appear to work based on suggestions from PowerTOP 1.8: I've added them to my /etc/init.d/rc.local.
echo 10 >/sys/bus/usb/devices/usb1/power/autosuspend echo auto >/sys/bus/usb/devices/usb1/power/level The commands are modified from a thread I found on the USB autosuspend (which were posted as commands to use with a .23 kernel). http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linux/kernel/822889 -- Powertop suggest to add usbcore.autosuspend=1 to grub's kernel line, doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
