Hello, I'm having the same problem under Feisty while copying large files over samba or accessing my pc through VNC.
uname -a Linux Desktop 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Fri Aug 31 00:55:27 UTC 2007 i686 GUN/Linux rmmod sky2; modprobe sky2 and then restarting the network helps for a while.
