Public bug reported: Redshift was not included in the dependencies of the redshift plasma widget, which is a packaging problem.
However, even when I installed redshift manually (sudo apt install redshift - no errors reported, successful install) now on start I get the error message: redshift: no process found /bin/sh: 1: redshift: not found ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.10 Package: redshift (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.1.0-3.3-generic 4.1.3 Uname: Linux 4.1.0-3-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.18-0ubuntu5 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Sat Aug 1 01:10:09 2015 InstallationDate: Installed on 2015-07-15 (16 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 15.10 "Wily Werewolf" - Alpha amd64 (20150713) SourcePackage: redshift UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: redshift (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug wily -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480526 Title: although I have installed the redshift widget and redshift itself, it does not start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/redshift/+bug/1480526/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
