I added the printingbuginfoscript with the driver "Postscript". $ sudo apt-get install gs-gpl $ sudo update-alternatives --set gs /usr/bin/gs-gpl Slow print as usual. Switched to driver "hpijs" $ sudo update-alternatives --set gs /usr/bin/gs-gpl Whow! There is a picture and it was fast! Switched to driver "hpijs HPLIB 1.7.3" Whow! I cannot see any differences on the paper, but the last to drivers are much faster. And, by the way, I do not have to press the stupid OK button on the printer now.
Thank you! Your help did the trick. Excuse me for beeing a mentor. I did not know what it means. ** Attachment added: "printingbuginfo" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9466992/printingbuginfo -- HP Laserjet 1320 TN slow or buggy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/144000 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
