Hi Alexander, I upgraded to the latest NetworkManager, and the problem seems to be solved. I also tried and installed the wpa_supplicant package I found at http://ppa.launchpad.net/asac/ubuntu/pool/main/w/wpasupplicant/, and everything seems to work fine too.
When I say that it works fine, I mean that NetworkManager doesn't crash anymore on first launch, and when I come back from suspend.
