Public bug reported: I have 14.04 installed on my Dell Inspiron. I'm trying to clear the Ubuntu installation, install Windows 1st & then reinstall Ubuntu. When I boot off a windows7 usb, it tries to load the Windows files, starts up with the Windows 7 logo & then blue-screens with error : "BIOS not fully ACPI compliant" .
Any ideas? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479232 Title: BIOS not fully ACPI compliant error when booting of Windows USB To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1479232/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
