Nope. I didn't look at the bug. Kernel bugs aren't my thing. My point was rather more subtle. By asking on IRC you show an interest in helping and draw a developers attention to it. Both of which increase your odds of getting it fixed.
If you think getting more bugmail is going to encourage developers to fix more stuff, I think you are seriously mistaken. The right way to ask for that is to file a bug against the launchpad product asking for the feature. On that note, it would be trivial for me to write a script to flip the bug status Triaged to Incomplete to Triaged on a periodic slightly lower than your nagging period and avoid it.
