Public bug reported: device: BQ aquaris E45 OS: Ubuntu touch 15.04 r24 channel stable
As discussed in the mailinglist: https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg14325.html When a contactname string contains a / (fw slash), trying to export a contact info to an sms message (using the 'share' button in the title bar of the contact detail page), results in a hanging process. A popup is displayed saying 'exporting contacts' and a spinning busy-icon. But it stays like that forever. The only way to abort is to close the contacts app. ** Affects: address-book-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1477473 Title: contactnames containing '/' causes error when sharing contact to messages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/address-book-app/+bug/1477473/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
