Public bug reported: lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 15.04 Release: 15.04
apt-cache policy kdebase kdebase: Installed: (none) Candidate: (none) Version table: Qt: 4.8.6 KDE Development Platform: 4.14.6 KDE Daemon: 4.14.6 Linux Linux8 3.19.0-22-generic #22-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 16 17:15:15 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux "System Setting" / "Startup and Shutdown" / "AutoStart" offers the facility to run a script when KDE starts. One can go through the procedure and select a script and it appears in the list of scripts. However when the window is closed and reopened, the script is no longer in the list. If I manually add the script to ~/.kde/Autostart, the application starts as you would expect but the script is still not listed in "Autostart". Note this came about because I discovered that kalarm would not autostart. ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1475566 Title: kde "startup and shutdown/autostart" does not allow script to run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase/+bug/1475566/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
