I'm noticing something similar, but it's only happening with the rt (realtime) kernel. I have these packages installed:
ii linux-image-2.6.22-11-generic 2.6.22-11.33 Linux kernel image for version 2.6.22 on x86 ii linux-image-2.6.22-11-rt 2.6.22-11.33 Linux kernel image for version 2.6.22 on RT ii linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-11-generic 2.6.22.3-11.4 Non-free Linux 2.6.22 modules on x86/x86_64 ii linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-11-rt 2.6.22.3-11.4 Non-free Linux 2.6.22 modules on Realtime ke I don't have any other 2.6.22 kernels or modules installed. When I try to load the ipw3945 module after booting the -rt kernel, I get 'invalid module format'. Rebooting with the -generic kernel, everything works perfectly. Maybe it's not related at all, but seems similar... -- ipw3945 doesn't work after gutsy update (2.6.22-10) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134193 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
