Public bug reported:

After reading `man realpath` it should be clear why

    $ cd /tmp
    $ touch a
    $ realpath ./a/..
    realpath: ‘./a/..’: Not a directory

occurs. The manpage doesn't contain the word "directory" and thus the
error message can't make sense.
