Thanks for reporting. Looks like the problem is that both packages include some of the same files: http://packages.ubuntu.com/vivid/amd64/dolphin-plugins-bazaar/filelist http://packages.ubuntu.com/vivid/amd64/kdesdk-dolphin-plugins/filelist
When installing both, they trigger a conflict for "/usr/share/kde4/services/fileviewbazaarplugin.desktop" and "/usr/lib/kde4/fileviewbazaarplugin.so". The latter is covered in bug 1469082, I'm hesitant to mark that as a duplicate of this since it mentions a different file. As a side comment, I wonder why the two packages have this amount of overlap and whether both are still needed... ** Tags added: utopic vivid ** Also affects: dolphin-plugins (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: dolphin-plugins (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1264659 Title: package dolphin-plugins-bazaar (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/kde4/services/fileviewbazaarplugin.desktop', which is also in package kdesdk-dolphin-plugins 4:4.12.0-0ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dolphin-plugins/+bug/1264659/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
