Hi, I have tried to install the last nvidia-352 from the following ppa https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive to replace nvidia-340. I still have a black screen with the lightdm music when I start my computer (Asus 64 bits: ubuntu 14.04: Optimus technology). The workaround I currently use is to set my computer in sleep mode (Fn+F1 on my keyboard) and to wake it up just after (Fn+F1 again). Then the screen works fine with the nvidia card.
