Hello, unfortunately the bug is still present in 1.4.17 and also 1.4.19. I get exactly the aforentioned error message with both the newer libccid packages:

It is the built-in reader in the Dell D430 notebook (Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0b97:7761 O2 Micro, Inc. Oz776 1.1 Hub).
