Public bug reported:

Hi
Don't know if the home scope is the correct place to complain about the missing
default telephone number. But it definitely hurts most there. When you select
a fav contact and hit the call button, it copies the first (I guess) number of
the contact to the number field in the dialer app. This happens with gmail
contacts as with local contacts. I can't find no possibility (nor in gmail nor
in contacts app) to move a phone number to the top of the list or mark it as
preferred or default.
So this is the question: Is it possible to mark a phone number as the default
phone number of a contact and does fav contacts use this number when you hit
the call button?
