Hello all, i had the same problem in the past, then i tried to understand what's was going on the network ,and then i was able to solve the problem for me.
Problem is this stupid module is going bad with autonegotiation with some switches (sure with mine!). I solved my problem (i'm using one Toshiba Tecra A3 to write, with such adapter:) )simply writing ethtool -s eth0 autoneg off then , the problem has ceased.
