I guess it is btrfs problem, probably some damage to the fs, and then the bootup scripts cant mount it. Why a live cd can mount the btrfs fs with no problems i'm not sure.
I will be looking for a way to get shell access during the initramfs stage, not sure how as i don't get any prompt. Ok. "Append break=mount to your kernel line.", i will try this with the next power failure, we get them weekly. ** Package changed: ubuntu => btrfs (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1458296 Title: btrfs root filesystem hangs at boot after power failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/btrfs/+bug/1458296/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
