Public bug reported: - open unity-control-center - select "Keyboard" - select "Shortcuts" tab - select "Screenshots" from the left list - select "Take a screenshot" from the right list
Now the unity control-center expects some keystrokes to be pressed for that shortcut "New accelerator" - DON'T press any keys but - select "Typing" tab The "Typing" tab will be shown. - select "Shortcuts" tab Nothing happens. In fact clicking on anything on the screen has no effect. The screen seems to be locked. - press "d" key Out of the blue you get the "The shortcut "D" cannot be used ..." Dialog. - click "Cancel" Input seems to be unlocked again ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04 Package: unity-control-center 15.04.0+15.04.20150410-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.19.0-18.18-generic 3.19.6 Uname: Linux 3.19.0-18-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: openafs nvidia ApportVersion: 2.17.2-0ubuntu1.1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Fri May 22 08:03:28 2015 SourcePackage: unity-control-center UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) usr_lib_unity-control-center: deja-dup 32.0-0ubuntu5 ** Affects: unity-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug vivid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1457750 Title: Locked input while recording a shortcut To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-control-center/+bug/1457750/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
