I haven't tested it yet but Anton Romanov reported that it should fix the issue.

If you followed laaag instruction from comment #115, like me, apply patch just 
before make command:
$ wget https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/6387631/raw/ -O 
amth10k-fix-promisc-handling.patch
$ git apply amth10k-fix-promisc-handling.patch
(I'v used git to fetch the repo)
