This big annoyance seems to be a peculiarity of debian/ubuntu systems.
However, the version 12.04.05 of LXLE does not present this problem,
contrary to what, unfortunately, happens with version 14.04.2. I just
wish that the team of Ubuntu would take it more seriously and correct
the problem once and for all. I would hate to be forced to migrate to
manjaro-linux LXDE, which does not have this kind of problem. Being
friendly and possess a great number of users do not give to Ubuntu the
prerogative to ignore this problem. For me, LXLE will be perfect when
it, finally, has the "Startup Notification" fully functional, because
the system is responsive, lightweight and has a low memory footprint (<
150 MB!)
