Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tzdata
New Zealand has changed the time that daylight savings starts, with it now beginning a week earlier and ending two weeks later (http://www.dia.govt.nz/diawebsite.nsf/wpg_URL/Services-Daylight-Saving-Daylight-saving-to-be-extended?OpenDocument) "Daylight saving for 2007-08 will start at 2am on 30 September 2007 and end at 3am on 6 April 2008." Running the command sudo zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2007 Gives the output /etc/localtime Sat Mar 17 13:59:59 2007 UTC = Sun Mar 18 02:59:59 2007 NZDT isdst=1 gmtoff=46800 /etc/localtime Sat Mar 17 14:00:00 2007 UTC = Sun Mar 18 02:00:00 2007 NZST isdst=0 gmtoff=43200 /etc/localtime Sat Oct 6 13:59:59 2007 UTC = Sun Oct 7 01:59:59 2007 NZST isdst=0 gmtoff=43200 /etc/localtime Sat Oct 6 14:00:00 2007 UTC = Sun Oct 7 03:00:00 2007 NZDT isdst=1 gmtoff=46800 I am running 2007f-3ubuntu1 of tzdata. ** Affects: tzdata (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- New Zealand daylight savings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141421 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
