Unfortunately, this only takes half the way. Using setkeycodes I can enable the keys for full screen terminals, but not for X. From "man setkeycodes":
BUGS The keycodes of X have nothing to do with those of Linux. Unusual keys can be made visible under Linux, but not under X. Any ideas for X anyone?
