Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
When I open a file in evince (.pdf) from the local network and attempt to print the file, the printing halts after only part of file has been printed. To check if this was a problem with the printer, I tested the file on several different printers, but came to the same result. I am running Ubuntu 7.04, with all of the latest updates. Evince is at version 0.8.1. To reproduce this bug: 1) open a file in evince from either a network computer or server 2) print the file through the default "print" menu option from "File > Print" 3) the file will fail to print, leaving your printer in a constant-print state ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Sep 20 15:38:25 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evince Package: evince 0.8.1-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: evince smb://crazycat/SharedDocs/world_country.pdf ProcCwd: /home/jon ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evince Uname: Linux jon-laptop 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Fri Aug 31 00:55:27 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Printing halts in mid-print during network print https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141340 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
