Pilot6, I booted into Kubuntu with kernel 3.19, then installed focaltech-dkms, and then rebooted again. Results are the same as on kernel 4.0.1. Xorg.log gives the same output (using evdev instead of synaptics and detecting touchpad as a mouse). Full kernel version is: 3.19.0-16-generic #16-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 30 16:09:58 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I just don't understand... Shouldn't it work on 4.0 without the driver, on 3.19 with the driver and not work on 3.16 without the driver?
