Public bug reported:

Hi,

I was about to try replacing MySQL with MariaDB (client side, not server
side) but then I realized MySQL++ depends on libmysql.

Can you make MySQL++ depend on libmysql *or* libmariadb so that we can
just use MariaDB as a drop-in replacement in cases in which we use
MySQL++?

Some additional context: http://lists.mysql.com/plusplus/9785

Thanks.
