This issue is still reproducible on Ubuntu 14.04. ** Description changed:
software-center 5.2.5, Ubuntu 12.04 - software-center 5.6.0-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu 13.04 + software-center 13.10-0ubuntu4.1, Ubuntu 14.04 When we search pcmanx-gtk2 by keyword 'pcman', we can not find pcmanx-gtk2 in Ubuntu Software Center. But we can find its fork, i.e. gemanx-gtk2. This is very weird because gemanx-gtk2 and pcmanx-gtk2 should have the same result especially when their code bases are almost the same.
