Public bug reported: When opening a PDF from the web in Firefox (today's example comes from a Javascript popup; not sure if this is always the case or not) and KPDF starts, I want to narrow the document down by using the Search bar in KPDF. This search bar works fin when I open a local PDF file, but when called from Firefox it doesn't work. To use the Search function, I have to copy the search text from another document and middle-click-paste it (or probably right-click-paste as well).
Here is today's PDF that caused the issue -- click on [User Guide] and open it with KPDF http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1115416833192&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=3319215278B02 Thanks. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Feisty: KPDF search bar cannot accept keybd input, must copy/paste search terms (PDFs opened from the internet) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141071 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
