yesterday i plugged my ipad4 (ios8) into my Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) laptop. After that i began to get this same message popup at login and exit - though there did not seem to be any actual problem. I had libimobiledevice4 already installed and installed libimobiledevice-utils this morning. On Reboot i did not see the message.
