Public bug reported: Gnome Terminal windows become unusable after performing a Gnome-Shell restart in Ubuntu 14.04.
Steps to reproduce: 1. In Gnome-Shell, open a Gnome Terminal window and some other windows like Nautilus and Firefox. 2. Restart gnome-shell via Alt+F2, enter "r" and press enter. 3. Use Alt+Tab to switch to Gnome Terminal and attempt to click on the window, noticing your clicks appear to go straight through the window to be received on any windows behind it, as though the Gnome Terminal window wasn't there. Expected result: Gnome Terminal windows should be clickable after a gnome-shell restart. Actual result: Gnome Terminal windows can not be manipulated via the mouse after a gnome-shell restart. They must all be closed, via the console or via the application launcher overview screen and re-launched. Oddly, this only seems to happen to Gnome Terminal windows, as all other windows function normally. I wasn't sure if this should be filed as a gnome-shell bug or a gnome terminal bug. Please relabel as appropriate.
