Hello, I hope I'm not causing any annoyance but I am desperate to change my mousepoll rate in linux mint 17.1
And I have tried alot of solution, none of them worked. I have in # /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time. # # This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded # at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with "#" are ignored. # Parameters can be specified after the module name. lp rtc -r usbhid usbhid mousepoll=2 and I have created file # /etc/modprobe.d/options options usbhid mousepoll=2 Then I have ran sudo update-initramfs -k all -u rebooted and with no luck, I am still at 125mhz (my mouse is 1000mhz capable, I had 1000mhz when running Feisty) I would like to mention that sudo rmmod usbhid sudo modprobe usbhid mousepoll=2 wont change the polling rate to 500Hz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121356 Title: options usbhid mousepoll=x ignored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/121356/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
