Hi Sergey, (In reply to Sergey V. Udaltsov from comment #2) > Is there a patch for xkeyboard-config?
Well, there is, sort of, in my PPA. https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/ubuntu/cedilla-test/+packages But that patch simply turns the <dead_acute> key into a <dead_cedilla> key, and it turned out that that's not what the Brazilian users would like to see. The desired behavior is that the <dead_acute> key followed by the c key results in ccedilla, while keeping the original behavior for other letters. Preliminary we have abandoned the idea to fix this in xkeyboard-config, and are now trying to make use of x11 compose instead. Nevertheless, if it is at all possible to achieve the desired behavior with xkeyboard-config only, it would probably be the most robust solution, and also most convenient for the users. Do you possibly have an idea whether it can be done?
