I can confirm this. Using Linux mint 17.1 and after starting TexMaker I am not able to type "ó" it results always as " ´o ".
If I switch windows back and forth I am able to type ó, but after moving my text cursor with arrows the keyboard gets screwed again. This is serious f*ck up.
