Thanks, Sam, for the confirmation. Same for me here: last week's KUbuntu Vivid still had the menu bar for muon but it vanished after the update I made yesterday.

In particular, I bought a new computer to avoid NVIDIA which I never got to a reasonable working state in Vivid (Nightlies).
