this happens if you choose at the beggining of the installation (where
you choose either try ubuntu or install ubuntu -- in my case it was
kubuntu)) some other language than english. i for example chose
Slovenian (i didnt try other languages). Then, when it comes to setting
the TIME ZONE it automaticcally try to offer me the slovenian time zone
(gmt+1), and it cannot, so then gives error message with a choice of
retry or ignore. i can clik retry 100 times but no success... if then
you go for igonre, during installation, the installer hangs.

current workaround:
im forced then to install (k)ubuntu in english and after installation in system
settings change to slovenian language.

nice day

Simon :)

ps. last image i tried and this happened was kubuntu vivd beta 1 and
former (daily ISO's and utopic/trusty 14.04.x ISO's)
